  For that site to appear on your WordPress.com account you need to install the Jetpack plugin and connect to your account. Here’s how that’s done:

  Thank you.
  What happened was that I copied one website to a different URL. So Jetpack is installed but when I try to link to Social Media Jetpack thinks I am on the old site -and the new one does not show in the list of WordPress sites.
  Sigh.

  I deactivated on the new site and reinstalled and everything is now fine. Many thanks for your help
