website not working

  I updated some plugins on my website; but before they finished updating, my site went blank and the following popped up:

  ‘There has been a critical error on your website.
  Learn more about debugging in WordPress.’

  What is that supposed to mean, and how to I get my website working again??
  Someone, please help!!

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.

  Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:
