Website not working after update

Hello,
Im a brand new website owner and am learning WordPress for the first time, after updating to the newest WordPress update 5.4, I can no longer edit my website an it only shows a white page with an error message.
This seems to be a common problem, has there been a fix to this or an update for this issue?

I am also experiencing this issue. The message “It Seems We Can’t Find What You’re Looking For. Perhaps Searching Can Help.” appears when I visit a page I just updated.

You’re talking about sites that are not hosted with WordPress.com. They are using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but are hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
