Website on Google but not showing meta description and articles not searchable

  My website is a few days old and I’m new to this process.

  My website is showing on Google.

  However there is no meta description underneath, and I cannot search for my articles.

  Why is this? Does it take several days or weeks before a meta description appears?

  Or am I forced to pay for a plugin?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there:

  Search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to show any newly created sites.

  Make sure your site’s privacy settings are set to Public, with the option “Do not allow search engines to index my site” not selected.

  While not necessary to be included in Google’s index, connecting your site to Google’s Search Console can help Google include your site more quickly.

  Otherwise, you need to be patient and wait for the search engines to index your site.

  As your site is only a few days old it may take weeks for Google to update its index.

  Just keep on posting high quality content, and Google will notice it eventually.

  You don’t need to purchase a plugin to have good results in search engines.

  Do meta descriptions form themselves?

  And will the content articles that I’m posting, generate there own titles in google, as well as generating their own meta descriptions?

  The descriptions come from your site’s tagline. Specifically, this is the HTML tag that is automatically added when you add a tagline that Google and other search engines look for when they index your site.

  meta property="og:description"

  Again, you have no control over when Google and other search engines will index your site or how it will be ranked. Again, you just need to be patient and wait.

  Those processes are handled by each search engine, and they are always changing. If you are concerned, you should try to find information from the search engine directly in their help pages to see their current recommendations.
