Website only loads half way and images appear in wrong places on iPhone Safari

  Hello folks,

  I’ve ran into this very peculiar issue where the site I am working on, http://tomgimbel.com, looks and works great on all browsers except Safari on iPhone.

  What happens on iPhone Safari is that the page begins to load and then just times out, leaving me with a half-loaded webpage. Sometimes, images are appearing in places they shouldn’t, instead of the proper images. Here are a few examples of what’s going on:

  http://i.imgur.com/pDrqEEh.png – There should be a background image and a menu icon in the nav.

  http://i.imgur.com/P5bj31n.png – What is that image doing in there? There should be another logo and these should be scrolling right to left instead of being displayed vertically.

  http://i.imgur.com/uQGi323.png – Some images don’t load at all and some don’t load all the way.

  http://i.imgur.com/orItZ15.png – Same portion of the website as above, except nice and crisp, how it should look. This was using iOS Chrome.

  So from my troubleshooting, the site looks great on desktop using Chrome, Firefox, and Safari (although sometimes Safari loads slow).

  On mobile, iOS Chrome performs great, but iOS Safari is causing the issues. One time I got the website to load perfectly on iOS Safari in Private browsing mode, I thought I fixed it, but when I hit refresh, it all went to heck again.

  I’ve been working with the WP theme developers as well as my hosting company and they’re having trouble replicating the issue and the issue is only seen by myself and my client (perfect, right?).

  I have tried the following methods for resolution, but no luck:

  Has anyone run into this bizarre issue in the past, if so, could you point me to a possible solution? I’ve been racking my brain over this for the past three days, but I could use some help.
