website problem

I am not able to write on my WordPress page this morning. The website will not allow me to access the writing portion.

This morning I was unable to write…i.e. the page which usually appears in which I can type a title, a text, select categories, etc. did not appear. When I clicked on the “write” link at the top right hand of the screen, a blank page appeared.
Please help me resolve this.

1. Do you recall anything you might have done to resolve this?
2. What is your computer operating system (example, Windows 10)
3. What Web Browser name and version were you using?

macOS Catalina 10.15.7
As best I recall, I went to the screen which was blank (the one which allows one to compose, select category, publish, etc.) and double left clicked the cursor which was on that empty screen.

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
