Website Redirect outside of WordPress

  We have updated our nameservers to redirect our website to another company, but now we get an error on the internet when we type in our url. Is there something more than just updating nameserver records to redirect our site?

  I don’t see any domains under your account.

  What domain name are you referring to?

  The domain is trinitybaptistsmithville.org (it is not associated with my account, but with our sister-church) and we have redirected it to cbcbastrop.org/smithville.html, which is not a WordPress domain. We suspect the error message is an Apple platform issue, but do not have confirmation of this yet. Do you have any suggestions for what might cause some users to get this “This Connection is Not Private” message and others do not?

  It looks like the site http://cbcbastrop.org/smithville.html does not have a security certificate so that’s why some users will see this message.

  This is something you’ll need to solve with the domain’s registrar. Since it is not a WordPress.com site we can’t help you with it I’m afraid.
