Website removed by ex-employee

  It has come to my attention that our website has been removed, being the only one with access to the site the only person I can think is a previous employee. What are the security protocols for protecting websites and users?

  What are the security protocols for protecting websites and users?

  The owner of a site creates their own security protocols to protect their domain/site by preferably only having one trusted Admin with the ability to modify/delete a site and also by taking regular backups. Removing ex-employees from access to a site and changing passwords is good practice too.
  What is the address of the site in question? Was it hosted here at WordPress.com?
