Website Reset

For some reason my entire website disappeared. I left it alone for quite some while since I was traveling and taking care of my elderly grandparents, and now my whole webiste has disappeared. The titles of the pages of the website all exist, but all of them are blank. In addition, the landing page and all of the content of the website including the text, images and graphics, are all gone as well. I really need this website to be working again so I was wondering if you could help me. Do I just need to purchase an ecommerce plan or buy a domain name? I’m understand why I lost my domain, but don’t understand why all the content is some how missing. I spent over $1,500 on the making of the website and now it has all disappeared and I don’t have the money to fix it, so please help me recover all that I have lost

    WP.com: Yes

  • Hi there,

I didn’t see you specify it here in this message, but what is the URL of the site you are referring to? I see you have a few on your account, and that you had in the past upgraded to the Busines/eCommerce plan.

One thing to be aware of is that if the upgrade on the site is not renewed, you may lose some features and content that require the plan in order to operate correctly (e.g. plugins) but the good news is that we typically have a backup you can restore from once you re-upgrade.

If you can let us know which site you are trying to restore we can take a closer look and advise you on what plan is correct to add for that site, so you can proceed to restoring from backup.

    Thanks for the additional info!
