website restoration

My website has been wiped, and now there is no record of it on WordPress. How do I restore it?

Hi,
What is the URL of the site you are trying to access? We’ll be happy to take a look and see if we can help.

Your site wasn’t hosted on our platform (WordPress.com). It was using WordPress software, and it was hosted elsewhere.
So, you need to contact your hosting provider to figure out what happened to it.

Already tried that. It’s hosted by Enom (and/or Unified Layer?). I spoke with a rep from Enom, who sent me to Hover (our domain site), who then directed me back to WordPress. Why isn’t there any record of our website on our wordpress account?

Because WordPress.com (the webhost) and WordPress (the open source software available form WordPress.org) are related, but separate things.
WordPress.com is a webhost. If you did not have your site hosted through us, we do not have any of your data on our servers. Your host should, in theory, have a backup of your site somewhere.
If the data is gone from your webhost’s servers, that’s something you will need to take up with them. If there is an issue with your WordPress installation, you may be able to ask for advice in the WordPress.org forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
The other thing I would encourage you to check is to make sure that your domain’s nameservers are set to the values that your webhost requires.
Sorry we can’t be of more help. But if a site is not hosted with us, there is little we can do to assist.
