website reverted to free version – cant find help fixing the issue

    Our worlddebatingforum.com WP website has somehow reverted to a worlddebatingforum.wpcomstaging.com website – no notice this was happening and no clear way to fix it. We have been asking for help for days

    Hi there,

    According to our records the WordPress.com Business Plan on worlddebatingforum.wpcomstaging.com (which is not under your account but that of another admin) has been allowed to expire. The Business plan allows your site to upload plugins and themes, as well as connect a custom address, so when it expired the domain mapping was removed, and the site reverted to it’s staging address.

    To return the site to worlddebatingforum.com you can purchase the business plan and then reconnect the domain. You can also ask @nohatenoviolence (the previous holder of this upgrade) to purchase it under their account again if you prefer not to purchase it directly.
