  Hello, I have a concern regarding the DDoS attack. does wordpress have an effective way to confront the attacks?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  @serferaty, as staff I can vouch for this: if you’re using our managed hosting, we take care of security for the site, including monitoring and mitigation of any attacks.

  Or you can manage your own WordPress installation with another host, and arrange for or take care of that type of security on your own.
