website seemed to be hacked, all content and plugins are gone!

When loading up my page today I get a ‘Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead’ and nothing loads. I successfully logged into my page admin and everything is gone including my installed plugins and media. Is this a confirmed hack and they removed everything? I have a backup file, but it’s old…. is this my only option to restore it?

Also I can only log into my account with my email, but not with my user name. I have an old email from WP that states my user name, yet it claims it doesn’t exist…

This looks like an issue with your WordPress installation. So, please contact your hosting provider and see if they can help you fix it.
If they can’t help, then you can post in the WordPress.org support forums (https://wordpress.org/support/forums/). Folks over there are very experienced with the WordPress software, and they’ll help you troubleshoot your issue.
