Website Showing ‘Not Safe’

    Why is my website not allowing people to access it? It provides a message that someone may be trying to steal their credit cards. Please correct.

    Hey @jermaineday,

    Don’t worry, as your site is new with WordPress.com. The automated process adds SSL certificates from Let’s Encrypt shortly after the registration or mapping of domains. it may take up to 72 hours to add an SSL certificate to your site.

    Hi there,

    Of what site are you speaking please? The only site in your account is wwwcocktailchron.wordpress.com, redirecting to the domain, https://cocktailchron.com/. That site is not loading because the Business Plan and domain mapping upgrade which connected the domain to the site expired in December 2017, over a year ago.

    If that’s the site you’re speaking of we have two options:

    1) We can revert the site back to how it was before you installed plugins in 2016, but there is a risk that any new content you added since then will be lost in the process.

    2) We can help you add a new Business Plan to the site and reconnect the domain.

    Please let us know how you would like to proceed.


    @arvindsinghu    , please confirm what site someone is speaking about before trying to answer, else you’re just guessing. There is no possible way you can know what is going on here without knowing what site the OP is speaking of, and the information you provided is completely inaccurate in this case – the OP’s site is not new, and is in fact older than your entire account.
