  The viewership dropped dramatically on my site on November 20th and I am wondering what happened.

  Hi there,

  I had a look at your site stats, and I see that prior to 20 November you have a very high views to visitors ratio, with each unique visitor on average viewing five or more pages on the site.

  What has decreased is the number of views only. The number of unique visitors are mostly consistent with the rest of November, and in fact yesterday stat of 16 unique visitors is the most visitors you’ve had on your site since 2 November

  So the same number of people are visiting your site. They’re just not viewing as many pages. I can’t tell you why this is the case – viewer behaviour on sites is unpredictable, and fluctuations in website traffic is normal. But I can tell you there’s nothing wrong with the stats feature on your site – it’s correctly recording views you’re receiving.
