Website still showing as expired when visiting site.

Hi, I have attached my domain (mydreamdog.com, purchased today from GoDaddy) to my Personal WordPress account. The domain says active on WordPress and I’ve been able to change the theme etc to create a basic website for my site, but when I click ‘Visit Site’ on WordPress, or Google the domain name, the page is still showing as the expired domain.
I’m just wondering if I’m doing something incorrectly or missed a step in building the website to use my purchased domain properly? Thank you

If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may want to contact GoDaddy customer support to ensure that the domain has been properly connected to your WordPress account.

As @curlware explained, this was most likely due to the DNS propagation.
