  My website with ‘Wordpress’ has been taken over by someone else (a foreign language cards/gambling site by my guess) I have no idea what to do next!!!

  What is the address of the domain in question?

  Did you renew the domain in time?
  It is possible for someone else to buy your domain name if you let it expire.

  Thanks for the reply. Domain name is my name
  Rhodrimiles.com – It looks like it was changed on 7/12/2018 on godaddy.

  I did not initially buy the domain name but did not reveive any information re it’s iminent expiration or anything. (I need to contact my friend who did this on my behalf)

  The new website is actually using my real name as the name of it’s website (it’s very strange) It asks people to subscribe and then states – I give “Rhodri Miles” (my name) permission to collect data submitted!! Can they do this? My name is pretty unique as there is no otber person in the world with my name??

  This is not a wordpress.com problem. You need to contact godaddy.com.
