Website Sub Menus have no title or image?
-
I am ‘renovating’ a quite old website. There was an error which caused the header menus to multiply. I am now reorganising the menu by adding all the necessary sub items underneath again. The issue is that when I now hover over one of the header titles, the box opens up, but is empty – none of the sub menu titles or images appear. I cannot find the part of the website that allows me to add this information in. Other header menus, when looked at in the ‘Appearance>Menus’ link show each sub menu duplicated with a custom link above.

Hi fstat,
The link is https://www.finlaystone.co.uk/ . You will notice the issue in the ‘Activities’ menu. I have managed to add the custom links for each, causing the text to appear, however the images are still missing. Are these ‘Featured Images’? I have attached a featured image to two of the sub menus in that menu but they are not appearing.
Kind regards,
Ian

No worries. So, your site http://www.finlaystone.co.uk/is hosted by mainnameserver.com and the domain is registered through http://www.heartinternet.co.uk That means that the site is set up on the open source WordPress.org software – it’s not using our managed hosting environment from WordPress.com.
There are 2 versions of WordPress which can cause confusion.
