    Hi,
My website now says it is temporarily down or moved permanently. Is someone please able to assist?
    Website is:
    wishfulgifting.com.au

The error message i get is:
The web page at https://wishfulgifting.com.au/?theme_preview=true&iframe=true&frame-nonce=3d2f448d29&calypso_token=ddc0b235-aa1a-4790-9cb5-0711f26bc8bd might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

    Thank you

  • Hi there,

The Business Plan and domain mapping upgrade that connected your domain to that site expired in February, and was removed from your account. That’s why the domain no longer loads your site.

The site still exists on our servers, but without a domain connected to it there’s no way to reach it.

To fix this, I can help you add a new Business Plan to your site, and then reconnect the domain. Please confirm if you want to do this.

Alternatively, we can also revert your site back to how it was before you upgraded to Business and installed plugins in February last year, but there is a risk that some content on your site might be lost if we do that.

    Hi kokkieh,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
To reconnect my domain name to the site and essentially re-activate the site, can I do this just via the Personal (or premium) plan? Rather than upgrading to the full business plan? My site is in its very initial stages at the moment so a full business plan would not be required.
With your other option (reverting the site back to how it was prior to business upgrade), would that be possible under the Free plan? Or would I still need to upgrade to a paid plan?
    Thanks again for your assistance

You can do this, but then we’ll first have to revert your site to how it was before you installed plugins for the first time. There is a risk of content loss if we do that, though, but we will try to avoid that.

You would need to upgrade to a paid plan in order to reconnect your domain. Once the site is reverted to the free plan, you can upgrade to the plan you want normally, and add a new domain mapping upgrade to reconnect the domain.

Let me know if we should start the process to revert your site.

    Ok perfect – thanks!
On that basis, could you please revert the site to how it was under the free plan. And then I will look to upgrade my plan (either personal or premium) in order to reconnect my existing domain name.
Thanks again for your help -i would have been lost with your help!

    Hi wishfulgifting13,

Thanks for confirming, I’ve reverted wishfulgiftingonline.wordpress.com back to the Free plan. You can now choose a plan and then select the mapping option for the domain you wish to use:

Please let us know if you need any further help.
