  I want to switch from a website to a blog

  Hello @annatheoilnurse,
  Follow these steps to switch from website to a blog:
  1. Open your Site Customizer.
  2. On the sidebar of the customizer, click on Static Front Page.
  3. On the section that says Front page displays, select Your latest posts. This will display all your blog posts on the front page thereby converting your website to a blog.
