website to portfolio

  hello
  I am totally new in wordpress and in the ‘getting started’ section I chose ‘website’ instead of ‘portfolio’ which is the correct one. Is there any way to change it but still have the same domain?

  Hi there,

  Don’t worry you can add the portfolio feature in every WordPress.com site by choosing a Portfolio theme. Here are all the themes that have been designed specifically with the Portfolio content type in mind:
  https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/portfolio

  If your theme doesn’t have the Portfolio feature active by default, you can turn it on by going to the WP Admin dashboard at Settings > Writing > Custom Content Types and enable the “Portfolio Projects” option.

  You can access the WP Admin dashboard by adding /wp-admin/ to the end of your site address (e.g.: yourgroovysite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/)
