  Hi I have a website template provided by basekit and domain provided by go-daddy. How would I go about transferring my website to wordpress?

  If the site is built using WordPress, then this can be migrated as per these instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

  Please note that moving from self-hosted to WordPress.com requires a business plan.
