  does WordPress offer a service to manually transpose an existing (godaddy) website to the WordPress platform? I have tried to do this myself and finding it exceedingly difficult :(

  Hi there,

  If your site is using GoDaddy’s builder, then there’s no import tool that can automatically migrate your site to WordPress.com.

  You can ask GoDaddy if they can provide you with an XML file that’s compatible with WordPress and then import that to WordPress.com.
