Website Unavailable Mode

    Hello,
I am having an issue with my website. It is displaying a ‘This webpage is not available’ error message. The website was built through a third party, which I now believe has some questionable and deceptive business practices. Nonetheless, I am seeking answers on how to best recover my page. I am unsure of the web host that was chosen. The login that I use for accessing the website is http://www.allwellhealth.com/wp-login. It states that ‘Under Construction Mode is enabled.’ I am attempting to reach the third party involved to rectify the issue, but I would like to know if any assistance can be provided for clarification purposes.
    1. Is WordPress the website’s host?
    2. Will the domain name be able to be recovered, if for some reason, the third party is not responsive?

    Thanks

  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you have trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

https://wordpress.org/support/ is an excellent resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

In this case, though, I recommend that you start by contacting GoDaddy about this: https://www.godaddy.com/help
