Hello, my DNS is correctly set to point to WordPress but I am still getting a message: This website is under maintenance. The website is: lowbudgettraveling.com. Could you please assist? Thanks
WP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
It looks like the site is hosted with Bluehost and so you would need to reach out to Bluehost.com/support for help in removing that message.

Hello,
I think that message from Bluehost has been removed. This is what I am getting now:
“You can’t get there from here (site_id mismatch error).
This happens when an external blog (a self-hosted blog using the Jetpack plugin) is pointed to WordPress.com by DNS.
If you are trying to migrate away from WordPress.com, please update your DNS to point the domain to your own server.
Otherwise please contact WordPress.com support and explain what you were trying to do, what steps you took, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened.”
Any advice on this?

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching back out.
It does now look like the domain is pointing to WordPress.com, not Bluehost.
At this point we probably need to take a step back.. What are you looking to do exactly? Are you looking to migrate a site from Bluehost to WordPress.com?

Hi, yes that’s what I’d like to do. Do I still need to migrate it from them even though it’s a WordPress blog and the entire content was created in WordPress?

Yes, that’s correct. We’re a separate hosting company from Bluehost, so you would need to migrate your content here before canceling your account with Bluehost.
To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:
- The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
- WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
- WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.
I hope that clarifies things! Let us know if you have any other questions.
