Website unresponsive in mobile

  Hello. I’m using Lodestar but the theme is not being responsive on mobile devices, e.g. the header image won’t shrink and the home page won’t scroll or show anything beyond the header and menu. I’d love some help with this. I don’t know CSS well but I’ve been working on these sorts of problems since Monday without any headway. Many thanks.

  Hello there,

  When I click on the link you provided to the blog you need help with, there is an option at the bottom of the page for me to click on “view full site”, once I do that, the site is fully reaponsive on mobile :)

  Hi @winterbrown, go to Appearance > Mobile Theme in your WP Admin dashboard (https://winterbrown.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=mobile-options) and turn the mobile theme off and save. That option is for sites using non-responsive themes, and is not needed with Lodestar.

  @Amandasjackson, I’m glad it works for you. Do you mind if I ask what platform you’re using? I’ve disabled the mobile theme (thanks, @thesacredpath) but am not able to get the page to load correctly on my iphone or ipad (even after clearing the caches for my internet browsers). Any more insights? Thank you so much for your help!

  @winterbrown, great to hear. On your iPhone and iPad, clear the browser cache for Safari under Settings. Mobile devices rely heavily on caching and it is likely that you are seeing a cached version of your site. I’ve visited your site on my iPhone and it comes up as it should for me.
