I deleted a site that I made a long time ago that had the URL of deevybhimani.wordpress.com. I am trying to recreate that website with the same URL, however I cannot select it. Can I get my URL back to make the website again? If you go that URL, you can see that no one else is using it, it just says the website has been deleted.

Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts. Do you see a deleted site https://deletedexample1234.wordpress.com/ with an address you would like to have? You can try registering a new site with that address here. http://wordpress.com/start If it is available, it will be yours.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated there.
You can register another .wordpress.com URL and then purchase an upgrade plan so you can map to an existing domain.
Register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Purchase a domain mapping upgrade knowing it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
