  Hey,

  I am on the free plan but i have paid to map my url that i own to my wordpress blog however it is still displaying a .wordpress.com address.

  How can i get that changed?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Howdy Chris!

  To do this, you’ll want to go to your domains page:

  https://wordpress.com/my-domains

  And then select your custom domain to be your Primary Domain. Right now, your .wordpress.com blog is set as your primary domain.

  Thank you I have changed that now but the new web address isn’t taking me to my page it takes me to 123-reg.com

  Is there a period of time I have to wait until it will work?

  The nameservers for your domain are still pointing to 123-reg.com:

  https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/christophervaleriopeters.com

  You’ll need to update the name servers with your domain registrar. This article explains how:

  The name servers for WordPress.com are:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM

  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  If you’re not sure how to change them, please contact your registrar for assistance.

  Once you have updated the name servers, it may take up to 48 hours for the domain to be pointed to your WordPress.com site.
