Website URL of my profile name cannot be updated.

  We have a class blogging project and I need to change the profile URL so that my classmates could easily link to my academic blog when I comment to them. The old URL I put in the “Website” space of the “Account Details” section links to a WordPress blog I deleted. I repeatedly changed the URL but it just won’t update. It still links to the old one.

  What kind of browser and version are you using? do you encounter the same issue with another browser? for example: Firefox or Google Chrome? . Please also try clearing out your cache and cookies.

  I performed the update both in Firefox and Chrome. I encountered the same issue with both browsers. I have also cleared out my cache and cookies, restarted Firefox and Google, and updated the Account Details section. The old URL is still there despite the note “You have successfully updated your profile!”

  If you click my username and profile name, it will link you to http://theloquacious.wordpress.com but I want to change it to http://diengoesnerdy.wordpress.com/
