Website verification

  Hi,
  I just started my first blog on wordpress.com and want to verify it. In tools I see three options for:
  Google Webmaster Tools
  Yahoo! Site Explorer
  Bing Webmaster Center
  I put verification code in line for Google Webmaster Tools but they say:’We weren’t able to verify your site’
  I can not use Google Analitics code because I do not have an access to the “head”
  How to verify website? Why code which I got does not work?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I have the same issue. I’ve been searching for a solution for days.

  I have a free WordPress blog and I seem to be doing everything right, following all of the steps. Google just won’t verify my blog.
