  To verify the site please remove the “www.” in front of your domain:

  I have followed all directions perfectly at least 10 times, and I’m still getting the error message, “Trouble verifying your domain. Please try again.”

  I missed your instructions about removing the “www” – I was so frustrated. I finally got it verified. WordPress should provide this detail in the online Help instructions. Thank you so much!!!
