Website Verification Services available on Localhost, but not on web server

    I am working on a self-hosted WP website, and am the only user/admin. When I am logged into wp-admin on my computer, I can see the Website Verification Services in my Tools. But after uploading the site to my server, and loggin in there, I can not see it in the Tools there. I tried logging out and logging back in, and using Firefox instead of Chrome, but to no avail. It’s also not on the Tools Import screen. Help?!

    The support docs here http://wordpress.com apply only to blogs hosted by WordPress.COM. They do not apply to WordPress.ORG software installs.

    We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG installs. We provide support only for sites hosted by WordPress.COM and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
