website vs. blog

I filled out the sign-up form and only found the Create a Blog to click on, on the bottom, in the free zone. My preference was to create a website and thought that I would decide later what to do with the blog. But now that my email verified, I only find guidance for the blog. Also, below this “type your question,” I find poorly written/edited instructions that confuses with repetition; on the WordPress main page, Internet is misspelled: Internet is always capitalized. More spelling errors: sign-up and follow-up should be hyphenated.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Good News.

You will be able to set up a Web Page. It’s just that WordPress call it Blog.

Just continue and don’t worry about those errors.

    Cheers

Why not do as I do? I just tell people I have a web site – I don’t think anyone really cares about the “title” be it a “blog” or “web site” as long as the site has the information they want on it
