Website was deleted, have to start over

    My host plan was through siteground and then I used Showit to build my website through you guys (WordPress). I am trying to figure out how to reconnect everything again since it was all deleted on the Siteground side. I have since rebought my domain name but no longer have access to the wordpress/showit admin page I once was using. How do I get that started again?

    Hi there:

    To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

    Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    You should contact both Siteground and Showit support for help here. Since they’re the organizations where your site was being hosted, they also should have access to your site files and can best advise what you need to do.
