Website Width

  Hello,

  I’m trying to make my website wide format (right now, it just looks like a sheet of standard-sized paper, which I don’t like). I’ve made the pages full width with no sidebars, but it doesn’t seem to change the width of the site. I’m using the Penscratch 2 theme, which seems to have this wider option, but I can’t figure out how to make it work without sidebars. Any thoughts?

  Hi @florafair!

  Try using My Site > Customize > Widgets to add a widget to your sidebar.

  Penscratch/Penscratch 2 use a narrower content area when the sidebar is empty, so blog posts and things wouldn’t get stretched out.

  If you add a widget to the sidebar, and then use the Full Width, No Sidebar page template, the site will use the wider width and also hide the sidebar, giving you a page like this one:
