website with a lot of ordinary pages with one particular page as Blog

I’ve made a site with several pages, including Home/about [static], events, contact, resources. All these will have content that stays essentially the same. However one page, called ‘New’, is for the latest topic of interest. I would like all blog posts to appear on ‘New’, whether by default or manually one by one. How do I do that?

I’ve made a few test blog posts and they appear to be orphans, not connected to or appearing on any of the existing pages. How do I make a blog post live on an existing page?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you would like to have a blog, you have the option to set up a separate page to display your recent posts elsewhere on your site.

As with setting a static “home” page above, you will need to create a new page called “blog” and return to the site customizer, and choose this page from the Posts Page drop down.

    OK the problem still exists.
In dashboard > settings > reading
I specified specified that there is not a static Front page-the Front Page displays latest posts. Yet the posts I have made since then are not displayed there. They are off somewhere else, orphaned. I can’t find a page on the list that contains them. I have checked and can’t find a duplicate of that front page with its sticky post.
Does anyone know how to grab those orphaned posts and attach them to that Front Page?

There was a kind of duplicate, the original static page I created linked to from ‘Home’ in the top menu. That page has become obsolete now and has had to be deleted. Instead, in the Pages list, there’s a Home icon next to a ‘page’ called ‘Blog Posts’. That has the same header and the text I originally had on the static page now lives there as a Sticky Post with all the other posts under it. It’s now the page ‘Home’ in the menu links to.
Total noob. Not sure how I did it, but it’s done.
