    Hi there,

For your WordPress.com site/blog to work with your custom domain consulttoyou.com, you will need to use the WordPress.com name servers for your domain:

    • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

You can change your domain’s name servers with this guide: Change Name Servers

To add email with Office 365 to your domain, you’ll need to add the Office 365 DNS records to your domain under Store > My Domains > Edit DNS in your dashboard. Microsoft has instructions for getting your DNS records here: Create DNS records at any DNS hosting provider for Office 365

Once you have those records, I’d be happy to help you enter them here at WordPress.com. We also have more information about that here: Add Email

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Thanks, but Office 365 advises to change the Name Servers to:
    NS1.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM
    NS2.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM
    NS3.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM
    NS4.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM

I have done this and e-mail then works and Office 365 says it is all OK, but the website is still not accessible.

    Hi there,

Your domain’s name servers determine where your domain is pointed. If your domain is pointed to the Office 365 name servers, it won’t be able to point to your WordPress.com site anymore.

You may want to contact Office 365 support for further help getting the DNS records you need to do this. You can tell them that you need your domain to use the WordPress.com name servers for your website, and you need the other DNS records (for example, MX, CNAME, and TXT records) to use Office 365 with your domain.

Once you have that information from Office 365, I’d be happy to help you enter those DNS records on this end.
