Wedding Gifts

  I am a complete novice to WordPress :-(
  I am looking for a functionality with a wedding gifts registry where visitors can pick which gift they would like to donate.
  I would like the registry to be updated for other visitors to see which gifts already has been chosen.

  Added feature would be for visitor to register who picked which gift – send info to web site admin, but not show info for other visitors.

  I found a possible plug-in developed by tspycher, but this requires upload of plug-in to 7plug-in/content directory, which to my understanding is not supported.

  Any suggestions are very much appreciated..

  There are lots of things you can do to set up a wedding site with WordPress.com but it doesn’t provide any sort of gift registry service.

  Lots of department stores do offer this though so you could always set one up with a favourite store and then link to the list on a page or even in a custom menu on your site.
