Weebly website & WordPress blog

Hi, I have a domain and website on Weebly. I would like to know how would I be able to use WordPress to integrate with Weebly only for my Blog management. I would like to use the same design of my base website but blog and SEO by WordPress.

    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Unknown
    Correct account: Unknown

  • Hi @renatavirtualassistant, WordPress SEO would only cover the part of your site that uses WordPress. That said, you’d be welcome to set up a blog subdomain like this, so you’d get “blog.yourweeblysite.com” —

Next, depending on how much effort you want to put in, I’d recommend starting by making your blog have a similar look and feel. You can do this with colors and styles, then adjust the layout as you’d like after you’ve added a few posts:

Finally, I’d recommend setting up menus on both sites so they link to each other — you might even let both menus be the same. Here’s how to create a menu on our side:

Thank you very much for the detailed advice and recommendation.
I would like to set up the sub-domain as you suggested.

To add a sub-domain, here, will I start entering my existing domain example “abc.com” from Weebly and continue to Connect this domain or shall I start over with a completely new domain creation here for example ” blog.abc.com” and then choose Connect this domain if I only want to have my blog page on WordPress.

Can you help me understand the Premium plan, does it provide the YOAST SEO plugin (standard not premium) as well?

We have full instructions on how to set up a subdomain here:

Can you help me understand the Premium plan, does it provide the YOAST SEO plugin (standard not premium) as well?

If you purchase a Business plan, you can purchase Yoast SEO Premium from your dashboard, or install the free version yourself.

Otherwise, Yoast SEO is not available on Premium plans or below.

    I hope that clarifies things!
