Weekly Photo Challenge

    1/ For some unknown reason I no longer receive any email notifications of the weekly photo challenge. So I must search the website every Saturday to find the topic. Why?
    2/ Also, I can never see my weekly photo challenge when I search WordPress. I can see everyone else’s effort but not my own. I always tag it with the ‘Postaday’ tag. Why can I not see it?

    Hi Michael,

    It looks like the latest new post notification for the Daily Post was sent to your email on 6/17/14. Did you not receive that email? Can you confirm that it was not delivered to the social tab of your Gmail inbox?

    Regarding your post appearing in WordPress.com searches, it should appear at the following tag:

    https://wordpress.com/tag/postaday/

    How quickly after posting are you checking the tag search? Occasionally, it can take up to a few hours for the search to update although it should happen much quicker. I’ll keep an eye out for your next post with this tag so I can search the “postaday” search.

    Thanks Jeremy. The problem is that I receive the daily post from you guys about whatever your topic of the day is. All are received (including the above mentioned post of 17/6/14) – except the weekly photo challenge post. Are you sending that out by some different means to the others. I have not received it in many months.

    Regards finding my own entries to the photo challenge I am checking within a few hours and also on following day. But have given up at this stage to be honest. Can never find a trace of them. Must have displeased the photo Gods at some stage!

    The photo challenges shouldn’t be coming through any other channel. I’m subscribed to the Daily Post emails myself, and I just checked back on 6/13 to confirm that I received the last Weekly Photo Challenge. I almost missed the email as it isn’t denoted by anything specific. Here’s the post:

    Can you perhaps look back in your trash to see if it might have slipped by? I almost didn’t notice it myself.

    Regarding finding your entries in the weekly post, are you referring to the tag search here?

    Or, are you referring to the list of bloggers including in the pingback section at the bottom of the post here?

    If it’s the former, you should be appearing. I’d love to check out your next post. Can you let me know when you’re anticipating posting the next “postaday” post on your site? Being that this is a popular tag, it can be hard to dig up your previous post.
