Weight class shipping

    I have a print on demand website. My shipping is based on weight class of product and number of products ordered. If you order 2 hoodies the shipping cost on the second is significantly lower. Same with a T-shirt, but a lighter weight class. So if you order 1 of each the first charge is based on the heavier item, but the T-shirt should be charged at the second unit shipping rate. It works with one weight class, but if you combine two weight classes it charges a first unit charge for each. I know there’s a way to fix this, but I didn’t get it copied from my old website, before I started rebooting and now I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a month would love some help.
