Weighted products

  Hi there,
  I am wondering if it’s possible to set up the following scenario for selling bulk goods by weight:
  If we have a variable product, where each variable is simply a different weight of the parent product, can we have it so that if one variable has a weight of 8.6 grams, 8.6 units will be removed from the parent products ‘stock quantity’ when that item is added to an order?
  And if an order is cancelled, have the weight value of that item in the on-hold order be added back to the stock quantity automatically?

  Does that make sense?
