weird dashboard and uploading issues?

OK so I know there are new stuff on the dash board but jeeez this is just weird isn’t it?

The stuff in the admin bar comes and goes it seems, but at some point it will go back to normal.
On the image upload, does it report that it has uploaded the image? In other words, when you go to the media library, is it there?
The first thing to do in cases like this is to log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.
You can also try inserting the image (if it uploaded) by going to the media library from the editor, and clicking on the “show” link and then clicking the “insert into post” button there.

yeah it’s in the media library but I still can’t insert the photo I’ll reload my computer etc

You’re welcome. The cookie and cache thing is something to keep in mind. Many times it is all that is required.

The weird thing on the dashboard does come and go a bit – question I have is whether it opens me or the blog up to any hacking?? It’s been doing it for a couple of days now, and it doesn’t matter which computer I’m using, so must be something on the server itself…

No it doesn’t. Someone would still need your username and password to get into your blog.
