Weird red line in my header pic on homepage
-
How can I remove the weird red line which appears above my tagline? I’ve updated the theme and it’s still there.

Hi there,
You can remove that here, under the Additional CSS tab on the left:
https://wordpress.com/customize/When you get there you will see a text box with some text in it. Create a new (blank) line, and paste in the following custom CSS code:
.banner-custom-header .site-banner-header h1:before, .site-banner-header:before, .site-banner-header:after{ display: none; }Hope this helps!

Thank you so much, jerrysarcastic – I tried and it didn’t work….is there something else I can try?

Hi again,
I noticed a small punctuation error… seems maybe you picked it up when copying /pasting the code I gave. Delete it and the code will work.
Also you seem to have added the code twice, you need to only fix the first one, and then delete the second copy
Hope this helps!

Oh my god. That worked! You are amazing. It’s been bugging me for forever. Thank you SO MUCH jerrysarcastic! xx

I can confirm, I no longer see the lines above/below the title. Screenshot at this link: https://d.pr/i/sXcycH
