Weird slash(/) error in my website
-
Hi, I have a wordpress web site on azure hosting and in my terms page if I go with mysite.com/terms
web site saying database error but if I go my web site with mysite.com/terms/ it’s working like usual what is wrong with this web site can anybody help please ? -
Then the second one is the correct one. As you no doubt know the slashes just separate directories and files and there is often a slash at the end in case there may be other subdirectories. Usually that last slash is added automatically by browsers even if you don’t type it. This thread has a slash(/) at the end https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/weird-slash-error-in-my-website/
As does this link https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ reminding you that if you ever have specific questions in the future about a site using the WordPress.org software then the WordPress.org support forum is the place to visit. -
Hi there,
If the link does not load without a trailing slash there might be something wrong with your server configuration.
The best place to go with this might be support at your hosting provider, but you can try the WordPress.org forums first:
