Weird Spike In Steve Jobs Hits

    Okay, so I wrote ONE, count-em, ONE post about Steve Jobs recently. I blog in a niche interest group and get on average a few hundred views per day. Let’s just say that when you type in “steve jobs,” my blog is not one of the first to come up. Not even close.

    Yet in the past few days, all of a sudden, I’ve gotten a huge number of hits on that page from simply the search term “steve jobs.” Not “steve jobs” and my username. Not “steve jobs, abortion” (which would show my blog on the first page, since that was the topic of my post about him). Just “steve jobs.”

    Today I had about 150 hits on that post from that search term. I cannot figure it out. I wondered if there might be some bot searching all blogs that mention Steve Jobs’ name. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
