Weird username

  I don’t ever remember even signing up for a wordpress.com account, but I guess I must have because today when I wanted to, it said my email was already in use.

  anyways, to make a long story short, I see I have this really weird and long username that now cannot be changed. it’s annoying because it’s too long for me to type every time I want to log in. so while I know it can’t be changed, I’m just curious why it happened. obviously I would not choose/accept such a name.

  Your best bet is to contact staff directly. Email them at support at wordpress dot com. Because that’s… not a username, it’s a millstone.
