Welcome page and posts?

  I would like it if people would see a “Welcome” page when they first go on my blog but also have a page that shows my posts. Whenever I try to set the “Welcome” page as the first page people see, there is never a page with my posts!!! Any solutions??

  Yes. There must be two pages. One is a static front page “Welcome” page that forces visitors to arrive on it every time they come to your blog looking for your latest content. The other is a dynamic page for your Posts to display on. Once you have created both pages then you go here and designate them accordingly:
  Settings > Reading
  Front page displays

  Your latest posts

  A static page (select below)
  Front page: Welcome
  Posts page:Posts
