Welcome to your website page blocking access to writing post

  I just created a new WordPress account. After logging on and trying to edit my homepage or writing a blog, I am redirected to a blue and white page that says “Welcome to your website. Edit your homepage, add pages you need, and change your site’s look and feel. On the bottom right of the page is a large question mark. The page seems to be stuck and will not allow me to access, create, or edit my site or pages. What can I do to get around this welcome page?
