Wen archiving for WordPress
-
Hi,
I deleted my site two years ago, but I still have the account. In the notification section I can still see the notifications I got back when I was still running my site (who liked my post, etc.)I think it’s now impossible to restore that site (am I correct?), but are there any websites where WordPress content is automatically archived and can be viewed if the correct URL is input? I’m talking about sites like archive.org but I can’t find my site on there.
Thanks!!

Typo in title… not wen. Web!
Also, the reason why I’m asking this is because I want to back up the posts I previously created. Was wondering if there’s any auto archived posts available as I didn’t manually export my data or create any archives before…
Been wanting to get back the posts for a long time but never got around to asking. (:

Hi there,
Can you give me the full URL of the site in question?
If the site was deleted more than 30 days ago, it won’t be possible for us to restore it any more, no. After 30 days we disable the address, and completely purge all content from the site, including backups, from our servers, so by this point would be nothing left to restore on our end.
Archive.org is the only site I know of that automatically saves snapshots of sites on the web. If they never took any snapshots of your site before you deleted it, and you didn’t keep your own backup/export of the content, then there is no longer any way to restore that content.

Thanks for answering.

Can you confirm if it’s still possible to restore the site ^ or if any of the posts are still on your server? -
sunnydaysintaiwan.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.
As explained above if that site was deleted more than 30 days ago then none of it remains at WordPress.com apart from that message. -
